Nippon racing pistons are made using 2618 alloy and proprietary centrifugal spin casting process as well as a 6 step heat treatment process to insure a piston that is just as hard as a forged piston but with a much lower expansion rate than forged pistons meaning engines assembled with nippon racing pistons will outperform oem pistons by 300% and ensure a prolonged engine life. This process insures zero internal defects from the factory and are guaranteed to outperform any other piston manufacturers cast pistons on the market today.
