Nippon Racing Pistons are made using 2618 alloy and a proprietary centrifugal spin casting process.Â
As well as a 6 step heat treatment process to insure a piston as hard as many forged pistons, but with a mush lower expansion rate.Â
Meaning that they will out preform OEM pistons by as much as 300% with prolonged engine life.

This results in near identical cylinder compression, yielding more horsepower and better efficiency.Â
All Nippon Racing Pistons set are weight matched to +/- 1 grams. Nippon Pistons also have deeper valve pockets than traditional Honda P73 pistons to a allow aftermarket camshafts up to Stage 3. These are true high performance pistons with a horsepower rate of 600HP.
