Ferrea Steel Valve Super Locks were designed and developed as a solution for the top fuel & funny car engine builders experiencing problemsof premature wear in the lock and tip area of the valve. This new lock assembly replaces the need for hard tips.
Ferrea offers Valve Locks machined from premium quality heat-treated steel alloy, which insure precision fit between the spring retainer and valve stem. These locks are stronger than OEM, maintaining proper installed height during operation, with High Pressure Springs.
The Ferrea K10034 is designed by FERREA themselves. They changed the entire lock to allow for additional support on groove of each valve. If you are installing Ferrea retainers, you need to install the Ferrea lock K10034"
