Big Brake Kits give your vehicle that Supercar look and feel, and exceed stock performance in two areas.
First, larger discs increase heat capacity. Second, stiffer calipers and stainless steel lines reduce system compliance.

The key, however, is to increase heat capacity and reduce compliance without upsetting the stock front to rear brake torque ratio. If the brake upgrade you select adds too much front torque (as many do), you reduce your car's ability to utilise the tractive capacity of all of the tyres to the maximum practical extent (even on ABS equipped cars) and you therefore create performance sacrifices. In addition, too many pistons or pistons that are too large will make the brake pedal much more difficult to modulate, which limits a driver's control of brake input on the race track.

DynaPro Radial

This kit is configured for dedicated road racing on all 1990-2001 Acura Integra 4 lug models, and the various model Honda Civics, CRX’s, Del Sols, and Fits, and that are equipped stock, or have been upgraded to use the large bearing hubs and OE spindles that originally used the 262mm / 10.32” diameter rotors. It requires 15” wheels designed with additional inside clearance to accommodate the larger than stock brake package. The four piston DPR/ST radial mount calipers used in this kit feature a forged aluminum body with a Type III Mil-Spec hard anodized, medium gray color finish. Hard anodizing provides superior wear resistance in the piston bores, and high resistance to abrasion and corrosion throughout. Thermlock® pistons are used to reduce heat transfer from the pads to increase fade resistance, and to extend service life by decreasing temperatures in the caliper body, fluid, and seals. Internal damper springs and controlled retraction, high-temperature piston seals assure consistent pedal height from start to finish. Caliper piston volumes are sized for compatibility with OE power brake boosters equipped with the larger 15/16” to 1.00” bore master cylinders, and are easily configured with manual brake conversions and balance bar pedals using appropriately sized master cylinders. Spec37 alloy, GT competition series 11.75” diameter directional vane rotors are dynamically mounted to the OE hubs with weight saving forged aluminum hats. Unsprung and rotating weight are minimized while providing high cooling efficiency and rugged durability with thermal stability in sustained high heat competition. Mounting brackets, including all premium grade fasteners, secure the calipers in the stock location without modifications. This race winning system is completed with high temperature, high friction, endurance compound race pads selected specifically by application. Stainless steel braided flexlines are required for installation, and must be ordered separately by the specific vehicle year, make, and model.
