Mocal in line Oilstat or Oil thermostat. These are fitted in the flow and return oil lines and allow the internal bypass to allow oil to circulate until the temperature of 80 degrees centigrade is reached.
The Mocal OT1 and OT2 oilstats will recirculate oil (by offering a least resistence return route) at temperatures less than 80degrees C. These are used when a sandwich plate is not available with built in thermostate or when the oil feed and return from the engine is not via a sandwich plate.
We supply standard the correct fitting for a Honda, but we can also supply it for a Subaru, Toyota, Nissan, Ford etc.
The sandwich plate is 1-5/16" thick with 1/2" Parallel ports.
