Darton International was founded in 1978 with the aim of becoming a leading manufacturer of automotive speed equipment components. In pursuit of this goal, the founders engage in manufacturing relationships with unique European factories specializing in products and techniques that would harmonize with Darton's potential customers.

Darton initially chose two groups of products to focus on: steel stampings (such as valve covers) and precision cylinder valves. One of the company's first customers for both product groups was Milodon Engineering. Together they have pioneered new and innovative ways to produce their cylinder liners. Darton became the first supplier of high quality centrifugally cast ductile iron cylinder liners to meet SAE and ASTM rigid quality control standards.

In 1990 Darton became part of an international company in Portugal. Pachancho, a 100-year-old manufacturing company, located in the picturesque north of Portugal, leads a group of manufacturing companies specializing in automotive products such as piston rings, cylinder valves, iron castings and specialty aluminum castings. Darton's subsidiary company is world-renowned and a major supplier to the automotive industry in Europe. All Darton cylinder sleeve material is produced at our foundry in Portugal, which is recognized worldwide for excellence in all forms of unique grades of centrifugally cast ductile and gray iron.

In the range of A4H-TECH Darton supplies several dry and mid cylinder liners for, among others, B16C/B18C, B16A, K20 engines. The range is very wide and there is for your Honda cylinder liners from 80.77mm to 89-90mm buses. The focus of Darton International's activities is still the production and supply of cylinder sleeves, also known as cylinder liners. Darton continues to advance in the racing performance market.
