Developed in-house at HKS, these oil filters have only one thing in mind : performance. Compared to the original filters, they provide a flow rate of up to 30% higher and limit oil pressure drop. Engine lubrication is improved while maintaining exceptional filtration properties : it is simply the best oil filter available for sports cars.
By using the original filter for HKS oil filter, the filter area is increased by 15%, while a conventional product significantly improves the particle holding capacity. HKS oil filter minimum particle size is 20 μ compared to 25 μ of the JIS standard, which matches the filter capacity of most engines. It is recommended to change your oil filter every 10,000 km or 6 months to maintain optimal low pressure loss characteristics, in sporty driving where engine revolutions must be several times higher than normal driving.
