Hondata CANFlex is a 49 state SEMA certified solution for running flex fuel (E85) on turbo 2.0 litre Honda and Acura vehicles. All calibrations are designed for stock Hondas (with stock intake and exhaust). Hondata CANFlex gives you more power than any bolt on. Fill your car with pump gas or Flex fuel anywhere, anytime. Hondata's software gives you the maximum benefit on the least expensive fuel you can buy.
Hondata includes CANFlex tunes in Flaspro manager. The CANflex calibrations deliver a safe, flat torque curve for your daily driver. With a flat torque curve, your car becomes a lot more controllable and fun to drive. It comes onto boost earlier and no longer feels like it is falling off boost high in the rev range.Â

What sofware is needed?
Upgrade with a Hondata Fuel System. A Hondata Fuel system delivers more fuel allowing more boost and higher these power levels. These CANFlex calibrations are conservatively tuned with the Hondata Fuel system for your daily driver with 400 lb/ft torque and 400 hp. More power can be dialed in by an experienced tuner on your built engine. The CANFlex calibrations add about 70 HP and spool the turbo 200-400rpm earlier with E85. The red circled Delta is the power gain. Throttle response is vastly improved.
Your Civic FK8 Type R requires jailbreaking before it can have the CANFlex calibration installed.
