D1 Spec Sandwich oil filter adapters install between the oil filter and oil filter housing, allowing for simple access of oil supply to install an oil cooler.
This new D1 Spec model with integrated automatic thermal by-pass (82 degrees open) allow oil to by-pass the oil cooler until reaching optimal temperature.
Adapters are supplied with extension nipple, allowing reuse of stock oil filter. Female ports allow easy adaptation to AN fitting size of 10AN (most regular oil cooler size).
This adaptor has also 2x 1/8 NPT sensor fittings for an oil pressure or oil temp. sensor.
