Nippon Racing Pistons are made using 2618 alloy and a proprietary centrifugal spin casting process.
As well as a 6 step heat treatment process to insure a piston as hard as many forged pistons, but with a mush lower expansion rate.
Meaning that they will out preform OEM pistons by as much as 300% with prolonged engine life.
These pistons come with full floating 9310 case hardened pins.
These pistons have many improvements over the oem honda units.
These pistons have teflon impregenated skirts to reduce friction, thereby increasing hp and gas mileage.
These pistons come with a fully anodized deck, this increases the heat load these pistons can handle, thereby allowing for safe use of nitrous.
These pistons/pin sets have been balanced to within 3 grams of each other, so you do not have to pay the machine shop for additional balancing.
The dome spec on these pistons is accurate to within 0.1cc of each other making the compression in each cylinder identical for balanced power.
