When we set out to design our short shifter, we focused on all of the areas where the factory unit disappoints. STAY ON POINT
Not only have we engineered a shifter that is easy to assemble, adjust and use, it culminates years of design and testing. Our new 4-link wishbone rocker design allows extremely short and precise movements while keeping the shifter cables at their optimum angle. Other’s on the market offer cable reinforcement brackets and “tie-downs” but that’s a solution to a problem that shouldn’t exist. Torsion springs can offer inconsistent resistance which is why we chose to place a single internal spring that can stay constant during every gear change and for super-smooth centering action.

1st and 2nd were without any doubt a improvement. Feeling amazing. However the 3rd to me and my very own personal experience didn't worth the price and the effort. The shift rod still had play not anymore along the direction left and right but up and down even more with the adapter rather without. On top, the bolt got loose during time resulting at first in a "miss insertion" and then in a annoying thoughts of having an eye on it.
Afterwards i dediced to change route and went for the Hybrid solution.
Installation straight forward with elbow grease and patience. The product not only it's amazingly manufactured but also improved the shifting even better from the "trio acuity adapter" point of view. Meaning that from the stock is like a whole new world.
Those 2 brands knows how to build parts. The client choice is : Do I want the stock pimped ( at this time of reviewing ~330€ ) with the adapter provided by the purple team or do i want a full replacement ( ~550€ ) by the red one?
Overall I recommend the hybrid that is a bit more expensive but it's sturdy, no wobbling of the knob and gives your interior a premium race looking that has the wow effect.
